Everyone blogs, from a website, via social media, or otherwise. We all share ourselves with others. Our news, our adventures, and our feelings. Many choose to make it official and share through an online URL. For the longest time I resisted, believing this was an insincere way of communicating, but here I am. And here we go.
7PlyEpic.com will be a culmination of stories and thoughts from the mind of a chronic traveler, life-long skateboarder, and student of the world.
A skateboard deck (for those of you that don’t know) is comprised of 7 plies of Canadian hardrock maple wood, cut and pressed together to manifest the final product you see on the wall of your local skateshop. So much time and energy goes into these boards at so many stages of the production process, and there’s an insane amount of interest, passion, and attention that has constantly reformed those shapes over time. A lot like this blog & the intention of these stories, the skateboard is an object of obsession and necessity for its owner.
Epic is a word used to describe an adventure of importance to a large group of people. In modern context, the word epic translates to praise-worthy, different, or legendary. Although this blog may not always leave your jaw on the floor, it will share the best of my life adventures. I hope that you can appreciate them as much as I do.
